Clio's pages describe court forms for all 50 US states, AI that turns Word files into templates, and questionnaires that fill document sets, with pricing on request. LawAOS templates use fill-in fields entered in a form, with no questionnaires or court forms, inside a system that also runs matters, billing and trust.

- Your documents are mostly firm precedents with a handful of fields, and you want drafting, signing, billing and trust on the same matter record.
- Choose Clio Draft when
- Your practice depends on court forms, multi-document assembly from a questionnaire, or conditional drafting, or you already run Clio Manage.
Clio Draft pulls data from Clio Manage. In LawAOS the template, the signature and the executed copy all stay on the matter.

Templates fill from a form
A firm template carries fill-in fields. Using it opens a form, and the finished document is filed in the matter with version history.
The signed copy comes back to the file
Signers sign in order or in parallel; the executed PDF with its certificate of completion is saved as a new document in the matter.
Every LawAOS cell names a shipped module. Every Clio Draft cell comes from Clio Draft's own pages, read in September 2026; a row those pages do not mention says "not confirmed".
